Aslınur Keleş Ercişli, MD, PhD, is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist at the University of Health Sciences, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, Türkiye. She received her medical degree from Hacettepe University and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa. She also holds a PhD in Anatomy, with doctoral research focusing on dynamic radiological evaluation of spinopelvic and coccygeal morphometry in patients with coccydynia.
Her clinical practice and research primarily focus on coccygeal pain, spinopelvic biomechanics, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, and ultrasound-guided interventional pain procedures. She has conducted prospective studies on coccygeal nerve blocks combined with sacrococcygeal and intercoccygeal joint injections and has presented oral communications on interventional treatment strategies for coccydynia at international rehabilitation congresses. She is also involved in validating condition-specific outcome measures for coccygeal pain and in studies evaluating patient education and AI-based health information on coccydynia.
She is certified by the European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and holds national board certification in PM&R. She has received national awards for oral and poster presentations and is an active member of national and international rehabilitation and pain societies. Her current research focuses on condition-specific outcome measures and biomechanical mechanisms underlying coccygeal pain.
