Dr Saadet Ipek Edipoglu completed her Pain Medicine fellowship at Istanbul Marmara University Hospital. Shortly after commencing her post as a Pain Medicine Specialist at Basaksehir Cam ve Sakura City Hospital, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in recognition of her strong commitment to medical education and her extensive national and international research activity, with over 40 peer-reviewed publications.

She is currently working as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, London, UK. She holds the European Diploma of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) and the Fellowship of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP), and serves as an examiner for both the EDAIC and FIPP examinations.

Her clinical expertise in Pain Medicine includes chronic cervical and lumbar spine pain, pelvic and coccyx pain , complex regional pain syndrome, cancer related pain management, and perioperative pain medicine. She maintains an active academic profile with numerous international presentations and multiple book chapters in anaesthesia, pain medicine, and critical care.

Dr Edipoglu is deeply involved in postgraduate education, trainee supervision, quality improvement initiatives, and guideline development.
