Roel Wilbers is a physiotherapist, graduated in Amsterdam in 1999, and a certified Maitland Manual Therapist since 2005. For the past ten years, he has specialized in coccyx treatment using an external mobilization technique.
He is currently preparing scientific research based on a growing clinical database of over 400 patients, expanding by approximately 100 patients per year.
Roel Wilbers is the founder of the website tailbonetherapist.com, where he provides extensive information for patients suffering from coccydynia. In addition, he is the founder and host of The Tailbone Podcast – Expert Talks, in which he interviews international experts to explore clinical, scientific, and multidisciplinary perspectives on coccyx disorders.
