Dr. Patrick Foye, M.D., is Founder and Director of the Coccyx Pain Center (Tailbone Pain Center), located in the United States, just outside of New York City.
Dr. Foye is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Rutgers University: New Jersey Medical School, in Newark, New Jersey.
Dr. Foye has been honored to receive many teaching awards throughout his career as a medical educator. At his medical university, Dr. Foye has received Excellence in Teaching Award and has been a member of the Master Educator's Guild.
USA Today newspaper named Dr. Foye on their list of "Most Influential Doctors". The American Academy of PM&R (AAPM&R) honored Dr. Foye with their national "Distinguished Clinician Award".
Clinically, Dr. Foye is board-certified in PM&R and he is sub-specialty board-certified in Pain Medicine. His particular niche area of evaluating and treating coccyx pain has drawn thousands of patients who fly in to see him from all across the country and internationally.
Dr. Foye has given more than 1,000 medical lectures and has authored more than 200 published medical journal articles, textbook chapters, abstracts, etc., mostly on the topic of musculoskeletal pain and especially coccydynia (coccyx pain).
In addition to publishing medical content for physicians, Dr. Foye also extensively creates easy-to-understand educational materials directly for people suffering from coccydynia (coccyx pain).
Dr. Foye authored a 272-page book titled, "Tailbone Pain Relief Now!" which is available on Amazon.
