President, Turkish Algology (Pain) Society | Professor of Pain Medicine | Interventional Pain Specialist
Prof. Ender Sir, MD, FIPP, CIPS, is Professor of Pain Medicine (Algology) at the University of Health Sciences and Director of the Algology & Pain Medicine Clinic at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital in Ankara, Türkiye. He serves as President of the Turkish Algology (Pain) Society (2026–2028), where he leads national initiatives to strengthen education, research, and international collaboration in pain medicine.
Prof. Sir is an internationally recognized interventional pain physician with expertise in neuromodulation, cancer pain management, targeted drug delivery systems, and advanced image-guided pain interventions. He directs a high-volume tertiary pain center and is actively involved in international education and training in interventional pain medicine. As an invited speaker and international proctor, he has delivered live-case and hands-on training programs in several countries and has trained more than 50 visiting physicians in advanced procedural pain management.
He is board-certified by the World Institute of Pain as a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) and Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist (CIPS), and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications focusing on interventional pain therapies and clinical outcomes.
